5 months ago at the beginning of May, I married my best friend Matthew in an intimate backyard pop up ceremony. We had already been together for five years, and are the proud parents of two beautiful little boys. We had actually postponed our wedding day once before, and were so excited about finally having that incredible dream wedding after waiting for so long. But sometimes plans change, and when Covid-19 hit so much of all of our lives changed with it.
With how uncertain the world was in the spring, we honestly didn’t know if we were even going to be able to get married at all. As we inched closer to our wedding date, we kept holding out hope that we would still be able to get married at our venue, but about a week before our wedding day we learned that wasn’t going to be a possibility. With everything else going on and things seeming to change every day, we weren’t sure that we wanted to postpone our wedding plans yet again. Instead, we threw together a pop up backyard ceremony at our new house, decorating ourselves that morning and welcoming just our family members and bridal party to share in the socially distant ceremony with us.
That day was filled with so many emotions. Like most brides, I had dreamed about a perfect and beautiful wedding day for so long! I knew the most important thing was that I was marrying the man of my dreams, but I also still wanted to still feel like a bride on that day. I wasn’t able to get my hair or makeup done, but I was incredibly lucky to still be able to wear some gorgeous Gabriel & Co. pieces that were loaned to me by our hometown jeweler for our big day.
I chose Gabriel & Co.’s white gold round sapphire and diamond halo earrings as my something blue.
They added just the right amount of sparkle and color to my wedding day jewelry. I also chose to finish my look with multiple gorgeous Bujukan bracelets. The beautiful, lightweight pieces created exactly the look I had been dreaming of for our big day. For my wedding day look, I chose multiple Bujukan bracelets to create a dreamy stack that made me feel like a princess.
Split White Gold Bujukan Bead Cuff Bracelet with Diamond Pavé Spikes
Yellow Gold Bujukan Bead Cuff Bracelet with Pavé Diamond Connectors
Yellow Gold Bujukan Bead Bypass Bangle with Graduating Diamond Caps
These were the perfect pieces to help me still feel like a bride on our big day, despite everything that had changed. Gabriel & Co. has so many gorgeous options for the special days in your life, but one of my favorite things about this line is how versatile the options are. By far my favorite go to pieces for both casual days and fancy nights are the beautiful options from the Bujukan bracelet collection.
I love that these bracelets are fine jewelry that I can not only wear on a date night with my husband, but that I can also easily wear every day. As a mom, I also love that these beautiful bracelets can almost instantly make me feel more put together. They’re trendy while still remaining classic, are easy to mix and match, and go perfectly with a little black dress or dressed down with jeans and a great tee. One of my favorite parts of the Bujukan bracelet collection is how easy it is to create a totally new look depending on how I choose to style my stack!
Gabriel & Co. creates timeless and well-made jewelry that not only stands the test of time, but makes you feel beautiful and special every time you put them on. Check out the full Bujukan line here.
