During these uncertain times, many of us find comfort in the message of Psalm-91. As a sign of faith, strength, and positivity, we have created a special 91>19™ bracelet since all of us need more faith than fear during these trying times. The psalm is seen as a source of comfort in times of suffering and is often recited for protection. It was written first by the great prophet Moses and later composed into amulets by Jews and Christians during the late antique period(1). Also known as the Soldier’s Prayer, it is imprinted on bandanas often distributed to US troops, and some say it before embarking on a journey. Some of us believe in God and the strong message from Moses, while others believe in the simple math of 91 always being greater than 19. The 19 is a nod to COVID-19 while the sterling silver material is a reminder of the ‘silver linings’ that occur even in the darkest of times. Symbolizing these sentiments through the bracelet, we want to take a moment to believe in the positivity of the greater good.

We have been very lucky and have been around for 30 years building great relationships with our retail partners and customers. Having much appreciation for everything we have received, we want to help those that are less fortunate and those who cannot help themselves – kids facing uncertainty and affected by illness, abuse or neglect. We want to help and we will contribute 100% of proceeds from this bracelet to Jewelers For Children until the world will spring back to normal. And we believe that it will.

Jewelers for Children (JFC) is a non-profit charitable foundation helping children across the world. Founded in 1999, Jewelers for Children was founded by the U.S. Jewelry industry with the mission of helping children in need, by uniting the generous charitable giving efforts of the entire industry. Their programs benefit children whose lives have been affected by illness, abuse, or neglect through various charity partners – St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, the Make-A-Wish® America, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and the National CASA Association.
