The Chevron Engagement Ring Trend

In the world of engagement and wedding rings, trends are usually more long-lasting than say nail polish or shoe trends, and for good reason. The engagement ring is meant to stand the test of time. However new trends do emerge and one in particular that I am really loving these days is the chevron engagement ring trend. These rings are best described as unique, romantic, a bit quirky, delicate and really showcase the diamonds nicely. Characterized by their formation of a distinct V shape on the finger, these rings are definitely for the trend-setting, uniqueness-seeking ladies among us. The best way to wear these type of rings is pointing down towards your fingertip, like an arrow (great manicure doesn’t hurt for the ultimate ring selfie).

Here are some of my ultimate favorites from this collection:

A unique v-shaped silhouette brings a graphic beauty to this exceptional 0.45ct diamond engagement ring setting. The apex of the pavé diamond encrusted shank is fashioned to cradle a round cut center stone.

With delicate engraving and refined milgrain borders, this 14K white gold engagement ring captures the grace and romance of Victorian era styles. Pavé and bezel set 0.19ct diamonds expertly accent a round center stone secured in a striking v-shaped setting.

A delicately curved band brings an extra dimension to this lovely round cut engagement ring. Garnished with rows of graduated round cut diamonds, this 14k white gold setting boasts 0.52cts of sparkle and forms a lovely soft v shape.

The engagement ring itself can form a v with the shank or band of the ring or the v effect can be achieved with a curved wedding band.

The allure of a brilliant round center stone is amplified in this celestial engagement ring setting. Prong and bezel set round diamonds are dispersed throughout clever coils of polished 14K white gold. The straight shank is enhanced by additional accent diamonds and chevron engraving on the sides while a matching curved wedding band gives a lovely soft v shape to this unique bridal set.

Below are some beautiful modern curved bands that look great worn alone, with an engagement ring or as part of a fuller set. Yellow, rose and white gold look equally beautiful and can be mixed and matched to form the ultimate ring stack.

These also look great with vintage details like milgrain and engraving for an extra romantic feel.
